On August 2, 2025, we held our First Community “Arraiá” at Avenue Hope’s headquarters.. The event took place from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and was organized with the support of a dedicated team of volunteers., who joyfully and wholeheartedly dedicated themselves to transforming the space into a welcoming, fun, and memorable environment in our history. In addition to the donations secured through partners, we also carried out an aluminum can collection campaign together with the beneficiaries.
The program featured traditional June festival games, such as fishing games, ring toss, and the clown’s mouth game, as well as a lively bingo activity., which brought together children, adolescents, and family members in moments of fun and connection. We also offered traditional foods such as hot dogs, sweets, cassava soup, and canjica (a traditional Brazilian corn dessert).
The main objective of the Arraiá was to raise funds to support the maintenance of Avenue Hope’s activities, while also promoting the appreciation of popular culture and strengthening ties with the local community.
Between July 21 and August 1, during the school break period, we held a Summer Camp aimed at providing a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for 50 of our beneficiaries. More than offering recreational activities, our goal was to care for these children and adolescents during a time when many could be exposed to the streets or excessive screen use. For caregivers, this initiative represented relief and added peace of mind in their daily routines. Through games, workshops, outings, and shared moments, we ensured access to leisure, culture, and the right to simply be a child, strengthening bonds and promoting development in a light and meaningful way.

Between October 6 and 10, we held the second edition of Children’s Week at Avenue Hope. This was a special opportunity to celebrate and reaffirm our institution’s commitment to the right to leisure, culture, and learning, as established by the Brazilian Child and Adolescent Statute (ECA), which guarantees all children and adolescents access to activities that promote their full development.
During these days, more than 80 beneficiaries had the opportunity to experience a carefully planned program designed to combine fun and development, through activities such as music and dance, technology and learning, sports activities, traditional games, and initiatives focused on sustainability and healthy eating.
These moments strengthen bonds, foster socio-emotional skills, promote integration among participants, and offer experiences that are often beyond the reach of the families served.

Hope Family Christmas aimed to promote integration among beneficiaries, family members, staff, and volunteers, strengthening emotional bonds and fostering a sense of belonging within the community served by the institution.
The initiative sought to provide a moment of togetherness, celebration, and exchange through cultural performances, a shared meal, and the distribution of gifts, highlighting the protagonism of children and adolescents and recognizing the importance of institutional partnerships and volunteer engagement. The event brought together more than 130 participants and was part of the 2025 year-end activities, reaffirming the progress achieved throughout the year and the commitment to maintaining and expanding social impact in 2026.
